Apps for Climate Action Contest

The Government of British Columbia announced the launch of the Apps for Climate Action Contest on March 26, 2010. The contest encourages developers to create dynamic internet and mobile applications using data related to climate change. It will award cash prizes based on usefulness and relevance of the application to raising awareness of climate change and climate related issues, innovation and creativity, visual appeal and user experience. The resulting applications will inspire youth to take action on climate change.

With over 500 data records covering a variety of climate change topics, you're sure to find interesting information on climate change in B.C.
